TANZANIAN FIRMS FOR VITAL MEET ON UNLOCKING OF DATA POTENTIAL.

STAKEHOLDAR  in the banking and telecommunication sectors will be meeting in Dar es Salaam this week about how they can unlock value from their data through the use of analytics.

The event will be held  in Dar es Salaam on 25 August 2016 and will be hosted by is hosted by SAS, which forms part of SAS Africa Analytics Roadshow,covering Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya during the months of August and September.

“During the African Analytics Roadshow 2016, SAS will unpack how analytics can help organizations manage challenges that are unique to the African market and how they can unlock value in their data,” said the SAS general manager for Rest of Africa, Razel Mushiana.

Mushiana said they were expecting banking and telco professionals to the event to learn how to understand what their data is telling them so that they can turn their valuable insights into great business decisions.

The agenda will include discussions on analytics in decision-making, how to create an analytics culture, how organizations can improve their customer experience and how banks can drive business evolution with intelligent risk analytics. Several SAS partners will also be speaking at the event and these include Thula Ngonyama (Standard Bank) and Proffesor Riaan de Jongh (North West University). Domain experts from these organisations will be sharing their real life success stories from 148 countries across the world.
